30 weeks

30 weeks Wed, Feb 27th

Baby is now the size of cucumber; weighing between 2.5 and 3.8 pounds and about 15.2 and 16.7 inches long. He is definately getting bigger and moving around all the time. Its so cool to watch my stomach move all over the place. I have been continuing to call daycares and we actually found someone we like. Its just a matter if she'll still have an opening when we need care. Fingers crossed it works out!

29 weeks

29 weeks (Wed, Feb 20th)

Baby is now the size of an acorn squash, measuring between 15.2 and 16.7 inches long and weighing 2.5 to 3.8 pounds. Holy achiness this past week. It hurts to sit at my desk or get up and walk. I still try to take daily walks at work even though it hurts. We started our birthing classes on Monday. We seemed to be the oldest couple there which surprised me. We learned about the different stages of labor, what to bring to the hospital, and some relaxation techniques. We have 3 more classes. Tonight we are going to a newborn care class. Hopefully we'll learn some more things.

28 weeks

28 Weeks- Wed Feb 13th

Happy Valentines day to our little peanut!!! Hello third trimester!! Baby is now the size of an eggplant; weighing around 2.5 pds and around 14 inches long. His lungs are considered mature now and would function if he came early but lets hope he stays put a while longer. I have been achy and having lower back pain as I walk but I try to get up and walk around at work from time to time. It seems to help. The past couple of days the hunger has set in..just can not seem to feel full. I've been trying to snack on oranges, bananas, and yogurt and avoiding junk. Hopefully its just a growth spurt and not a everyday lovely 3rd trimester symptom.

27 weeks

27 weeks Wed, Feb 6th--3 months to go!!

Baby is the size of a rutabaga and is now opening his eyes and breathing. There is now brain activity now too. He has been very active moving around and kicking like crazy. I have been getting heart burn (burning up the throat) pretty much everyday and have been kind of tired and achy lately. More to come Im sure!

Doc apt/glucose testing

Doc's appointment-Jan 31st

Today we had a doctors appointment. I was back to measuring what I was last time so should be on track now. The past measurement must have been a fluke. heheehe. Babys heartbeat was 144 and he kicked the doctor when she was listening for it. haha He must have been moving around from the yummy sugary glucose drink I drank.

Im assuming I passed the test bc its 4pm and no one has called to tell me I failed. Woo hoo!! We go back in a month and then after that it will be every two weeks.
