21 weeks

21 weeks, Wed Dec 26th

This mama is sick:( I have some sort of bad cold or sinus infection; hoping it goes away soon!! Baby is now the size of a pomegranate. Baby K has been very active and kicking a lot!

20 weeks/ Half way Mark

20 weeks- Half way there


We have reached the half way point! EEK!! Starting to feel big and baby is now the size of a banana. I've been feeling alot more movement and kicks. Baby K is very active!!! When you try to hold to feel it though he stops. Little stinker!!

Xmas/ First Kick

First Family Xmas and First Kicks

We celebrated Xmas with my family this past weekend. We had a lot of fun and Ava was so fun to watch open presents. She is so entertaining! Baby K was very spoiled and received lots of gifts.

Last night I def was feeling movement from the outside and I think they were kicks. Lee felt it too! The one time it was so hard it scared me and I jumped. haha!

19 weeks

19 weeks, Wed Dec 12th (12-12-12)

Baby boy is now the size of a mango. I've been feeling a little nauseous the past couple of days with headaches and dizziness. Hope this passes soon. Feeling very large and in charge these days. hehe Excited for our first family Xmas this weekend. We found out Matt and Jodie are having a boy too so our boys will grow up together!!

We met with a couple of in home daycares this week but havent really found "the one" yet. Hope we have some better luck soon!

Its a boy!!

This mama is still in shock! We both swore it was a girl! He def fooled us!! Everything looks good and it was so cool to see everything. I was a nervous wreck of course and had to pee so bad the whole time. She finally let me go half way through bc my bladder was so full. The ultra sound was showing 20 weeks so who knows we may be closer to May 1st. We shall see!

18 weeks

Baby is now the size of sweet potatoe. It has been very active the past week. I can feel movement several times throughout the day. I have been having bad back pain; having to sleep with a heating pad. Looking forward to our ultra sound on Monday.

17 weeks

17 weeks- Wed, Nov 28th


Baby is now the size of an onion or potatoe and can supposedly hear now. I felt a lot of non stop movement on Tuesday. I hadnt felt anything in a week or so since the first time. We finally ordered a crib and matching dresser this week. Cant wait to get it and put it all together.

16 weeks

16 weeks Wed, Nov 21st

Officially 4 months. Wowzers!! Baby is now 4 to 5 inches long and weighs approx 3 ounces. The baby is now sensitive to light and can make facial movements and have the hiccups. Wed we went to WI to two thanksgivings with Lee's moms and dads families and then on Friday well go to Waseca to spend time with my fam. Happy Turkey week!!

Monday, November 19th

We had our monthly doctors appointment today. Things are still looking good. I gained back some of the weight I had lost and am measuring at 17 weeks ( a week ahead again). It will be interesting to see if the ultra sound says date wise. We heard the babys heart beat again and it was exactly the same as last time 158-160. We got to schedule our next appointment along with our ultra sound for the big gender reveal for Dec 10th. I cant wait!!!

The kicker is that is the same date for Matt and Jodies ultra sound too. How crazy is that?!?! I think we should both wrap up stuff for grandma to open the following weekend when we are celebrating Xmas to find out the genders. haha I dont know if Ill be able to keep a secret after finding out though. We shall see!!

15 weeks

15 weeks (Wed, Nov 14th)

Baby is now the size of an orange, has refluxes, hair and a skeleton. I have been feeling a lot better lately and have more energy. The bump is definately getting more noticeable. Looking forward to my appointment on Monday. Hopefully well get to schedule the big ultra sound!!

I think I felt the baby move for this first time this past weekend. (Sat and Sunday). When I was laying down really still I felt a few flutters..like a clock ticking. Im pretty sure it was movement! EEK! I was wondering if it was too soon but I swear it was what I think it was. Im sure there will be more to come!

14 weeks

14 Weeks-We have bumpage

A definite bump has appeared this week. No hiding it anymore. I wore my maternity jeans for the first time; they still kinda fall off but are much more comfortable than my normal jeans. Baby is the size of a lemon this week.

Baby is the size of peach. Starting to feel a bit better this week. Finally!! Still feel queasy from time to time but a lot better than before.

Lisa's Wedding

Well I got through my last event trying to fake like Im drinking. I dont think it went very well haha! We had my friend Lisa's wedding on Saturday and people were giving me looks and even asked where my drink was and that they were suspcious. hehe! Oh well I managed to not say anything but I think people are thinking that I am pregnant. haha Cant wait to tell my family this weekend!!

Friday, Aug 24th

We found out we are pregnant!! I woke up for work and took a test and could not believe when I saw two lines..the one line was a little faint so I yelled for Lee to come upstairs and look at it. We were both very excited and surprised!

Saturday, Aug 25th

We headed up to the cities to help Matt, Jodie and Ava move into their new house. My mom and Miguel were there to help as well. I was trying my best to act like "normal" and to not spill the beans to anyone. We pull into the driveway and I give Ava a hug and my mom says to me look at her shirt. It said "Im going to be a big sister!" Jodie and I had always joked we would be pregnant together and that we would try around summer time. haha! I thought it could be possible but not within weeks of each other. They told us it was very early and werent telling many people yet and I asked when they thought they were due and she said the end of April. Wow same as us no way ( I was thinking in my head). It was so hard not to blurt out omg we are pregnant too. haha!

It will be fun to experience this with her and now there will be cousins within just weeks of each other. We dont go to the doctor until Sept 24th so we wont know for sure when we are due. When I called they told me I was 7 weeks but I think I could be a little behind that because I had taken tests earlier and they all came back negative.



Symptoms so far

I am feeling pretty good. Just bloated, cramping, and a little tired. Very thankful I am not throwing up yet. I hope it stays that way but it could be on its way.
