26 weeks

26 weeks Wed, Jan 30th

Baby is now the size of head of lettuce; approx 2 pds or so. He is very active and the kicks are def getting stronger. You can see my stomach moving all around now alot too. So crazy!! I have been feeling pretty good just a little tired and some occasional heart burn.

I think I offically now look pregnant bc I get the frequent stares in the hall and the oh you look so cute and can I touch your stomach from a few coworkers..kinda getting annoyed with it when its every day. Yep you said something yesterday its still there. hehe I bought some maternity shirts and I think they just emphasize the bumpage. haha

Nursery

Nursery progress

We started to hang up some things in the nursery this past weekend. Its finally starting to come together. We just need to add the name letters above the crib but can't reveal the name yet. hehehe.

We also need to adjust some of the frames in the little picture collage.

As you can see Bella was observing from the crib! Good grief! We could not keep her out of there.

25 weeks

25 weeks (Wed, Jan 23rd)

Baby is now the size of a head of cauliflower. I finally caved and ordered some maternity tops this week. Hopefully they fit! The normal shirts just aren't cutting it anymore. We hope to register this weekend and get some stuff hung up in the nursery now that we have all of our furniture.

Hockey Game

Baby's First Hockey Game


Baby got to go his first Wild hockey game on Saturday. It was the first home game opener after a long lockout with no hockey. It was packed and we had a great time. The team was a little shaky in the first period but got it together in the second and third to win against the Colorado Avalanche!

24 weeks

24 weeks, Jan 16th

Baby is now the size of a cantaloupe. Feeling very large these days! Might have to break down and buy some maternity tops. My normal shirts are very snug. Its my bday on Friday and then baby gets to go to his first Wild game(the home opener)

23 weeks

23 weeks (Wed, Jan 9th)

Baby is the size of a grapefruit. We had our doctors appointment on Monday and everything was looking good. Heartbeat was 140 and belly was measuring at over 27 weeks. EEK! That freaked me out! Who knows how accurate it is. I dont feel huge..maybe there was a huge growth spurt going on in there.

We made a trip to the cities on Saturday to go to Ikea and Babies R Us to start registering. We bought a crib mattress and some hangers. Ive made several trips to Hobby Lobby and Joann fabrics to start some craft projects. Wish me luck I am not very crafty. I'll be attempting to paint some wooden letters of your name and making some wall art.

Grandpa and Gma K brought up our baby furniture this weekend. The dresser was already put together in the box and the crib only took around 20 mins or so to get together.

22 weeks

22 weeks (Jan, 2nd)

Baby is now the size of a papaya and is now sleeping 12-14 hours per day. I still cant seem to fight this cold..ugh! Hopefully soon. We had a great low key New Years Eve by going out to eat with Jon, Lana, Dana and Monica at 300 on First. We went home after and I struggled to stay up to watch the ball drop in NY at 11 haha!

Daddy painted your room while I was working on New Years Eve. It is a soft baby blue color called Morning Breeze. I also caved and bought a bedding set which of course no longer available but I managed to find it on a baby website. Hope it matches good. I couldnt find the crib bumper but you cant really use that after a certain point anyways.
