Four Months Old- August 24th

Our sweet boy is four months old. Where has the time gone? You are getting so big and learning new things everyday; you are seeming less and less like a baby everyday.

--You weigh 16 lb 14 oz, 25.25 inches long. Such a chunker lol:)
--You are wearing a size three diaper now, and wearing six month clothes. Some are a little snug and others are a little big. We are hoping to make it in six months for the rest of the summer like days.
--Wearing fleece sleepers to bed now at night. You seem to like it more than the sleep sacks. It was an easy transition.
--A couple weeks ago you slept through the night without needing to eat for about a week straight, but now the past week you have woken up around 2-3 wanting to eat a bottle and then you'll go right back to sleep until usually close to 7am. You still go to bed around 8 pm. Sometimes 730 if you get sleepy or overtired. We usually feed you a bottle and then lay you in your crib to fall asleep on your own. You are usually pretty good about getting to sleep in around 10-15 mins.
--You are eating around 7 ounces about every 3-4 hours (size 3 nipples, breast milk). Sometimes you'll eat a little less. You will usually eat a full bottle before bed if its been 2 hours or so since you last ate. We are hoping to try rice cereal tonight after your 4 month appointment if your doctor gives us the go ahead. We hope this will keep you full the whole night and you'll sleep through the night again.
--Talking up a storm...gooing and makings sounds. You've gotten very loud the past couple of days when talking to us. Too cute!
--You are grabbing toys and sucking on them more and more.
--You suck your thumb or whole hand.
--You tolerate books a little bit more now.
--Still love bath time..splash all around.-
--You always sleep on your stomach now, we stopped worrying and just let you be. We find you all over the crib..Up against the sides, head facing the back of the crib etc. We lowered your crib one level bc you were lifting yourself up above the crib.
--Still drooling all the time..we always have to have a bib on you.
--You seem to like daycare and are a pretty good baby from what we hear. If we could just get you to nap like you do there. You seem to take several cat naps at home or wont sleep the best in your crib maybe an hour tops.
--You love walks sitting up in your stroller and being outside. You love to people watch too when we take you out to eat.
--You grab your paci and hold it in your hand and then put it back in your mouth all the time. Its too funny!
--You've lost most of your hair on one side and a little in the back. haha Hopefully some new hair will grown in soon. Its still red tinted and wavy. When we take you outside and its humid it curls right up. hehe
--You've started using your bumbo and tray more, playing with rings, using your musical jumper..you are a little small yet. We usually put a blanket underneath so your feet can touch. You seems to like to play with it for a 10 mins or so and then you want out. Hopefully in the next month you'll start to like it more.
--Lots and lots of smiles..you def recognize us when we pick you up at daycare you goo and smile. A few more laughs lately, a lot of silent looking ones. We are waiting for you to giggle non stop. You have just had small ones off and on. We love your big smiles though. You love to stand up on us and we say so big! You love playing air plane and looking all around. You def do not like to just sit still.
