I know I say this everytime but how in the world are you 3 years old?!?!?!? Time needs to slow down! You have changed/learned so much this past year. There are more changes to come as you soon become a big brother too!
*Clothes wearing 3T pants and shirts for the most part... we have gotten you some 4T tops for the summer..you have started to wear 4T pjs but they are a little big on you. Size 7 shoes.
*We are still in diapers:( We have attempted potty training several times and sometimes we make great progress and others you want nothing to do with it or just pee your pants. We are switching up daycares in a month so Im hoping this place will work with you a little more and we are free to send you in underwear so hoping we can nip this one in the butt
*Sleeping in your big boy room! The transition was so easy and you love your big bed. We have you brush your teeth and sometimes we do a bath..you love the color dye tablets we have bought you. Then we read you 3 books in bed with you and then you fall asleep on your own. We leave the door open until you are asleep and then we shut it...You typically sleep from 8 pm to 6:40-sometimes later on the weekends. You love to leave your jammies on.. and everyone morning you insist on doing so and that you want to stay home.
*You are a very picky eater...and you will only eat when you want to...often times we just have given up at dinner time and let you eat a little bit later. Not sure if its due to bigger snacks at daycare or what?!? You lil stinker. You love hot dogs, meats, grapes, pineapple, watermelon, choc milk, yogurt, applesauce, mac and cheese and popcorn..anytime we go out to eat you ask wheres the popcorn?!?!!?
*You love playing with your neighbor friends at the park, bubbles, tractors dirt.. All boy!!
*You love your ipad playing games(matching etc) you have gotten quite good at it.
*Still love paw patrol and that was the theme of your party.
*You love to read books and cuddles...you always say sit with mama and come and cuddle by me.. Please never stop doing this sweet boy. hehehe:)
*You just got glasses a couple weeks ago.. it was quite heart breaking on me..but you are getting used to them.. we noticed you were having trouble focusing up close and your one eye would cross. We took you to a specialist at mayo and he said yes you have a astigmatism and the eye crossing.. we are wearing the glasses for a few months and will reevaluate after. You hated them at first and would take them off...hide them and act like you didnt know where they were. Youve gotten much better now..youll wear them all day at daycare without a fuss and more now at home... a couple days ago one lense fell out and disappeared so now you are down to 1 lense till the new one gets here. EEK
*We think you are excited for you new brother...although you have insisted its a girl haha.. you lift my shirt to see the baby and say shhh baby is sleeping... before youd say wake up baby and come play with me.. too cute for words.. Im sure it will be quite the adjustment but I know you will love having a lil buddy to play with.
*You are pretty low key for the most part but sometimes when you dont get your way youll scream I want nothing or get mad, youll often times put yourself in time out rather than listening you just say Ill have a time out for not listening.. lol Sometimes at night youll scream and kick... youll do the whole no I dont want this and then five minutes youll demand to have it. Pretty typical for this age so Ive heard.
*You are talking a lot more.. you know what so many things are.. You are still sometimes hard to understand especially for other people. Were hoping this will get better with time. You like to point out every construction thing as we drive and freak out if you see a ambulance or police car with excitement.
*You remember things and reenact them from moving etc.
