--You weigh 24 lbs 2 oz (April 17th)...brought you in for a rash/cold.
--Sleeps in crib in room with fleece sleeper. We gave you a fleece doggie lovey to sleep with in hopes it gives you comfort in the middle of the night. I think you like it? Sometimes we give you a paci but you typically spit it out.
--You still are a horrible night sleeper. Wondering if youll ever STTN. In the past week we have accomplished no more in the middle of the night feedings..we had decreased the amount of a bottle little by little until we got to about 2oz. You didnt seem too mad after taking it away after that.
--Youll drink a 8oz bottle before and sometimes youll pass out eating it others we lay you down and let you fall asleep on your own. One night you screamed for 45 mins the other just for 10. You still wake up around 1-2 and sometimes we can just pat your back and youll go back to sleep others its over and over and we just cave and let you sleep with us. Like to be touching us. Lil stinker.
--You are so over baby foods and want everything table foods..you can not feed you fast enough and you slam your hand on your high chair tray once you are out of food..youll even reach for food off the table trying to grab it. ahha
--We switched you over to all formula this month and it went fairly well. The first day at daycare you seemed confused but still drank it fine. Youll typically do a bottle right when you wake up (6oz), eat breakfast at daycare and then you typically drink 3 more bottles there somtimes youll just drink half and then the other half and hour later. You eat lunch there too of table foods. Your fav food to date is probably taco ring you kicked and kicked and were so excited haha. We've given you most fruits, yogurt, meats, cheese, puffs. You seem to love it all.
--Naps you are napping alot better at home and daycare. Youll typically take an hour or so nap in the morning at daycare and another hour nap in the afternoon. Sometimes you are very crabby by the time we pick you up and could prob use another nap but you dont fall asleep on the way home as much anymore. AT home you can take 1.5-2 hour naps usually the morning one is longer and sometimes in the afternoon youll only cat nap for 30mins.
--We found out you are also allergic to amoxicillin like your dad and brother. This was round two of being on it and on day 7 I notice small red hives so we stopped the meds immediately. By morning your whole body was red and inflammed. They gave you a steriod and it was starting to clear up. The next day we sent you back to daycare and by mid day they called me and it was way worse and you were shaking and twitching your body so I brought you to the ER. They couldnt do much but give you benedryl and a diff daily oral steriod. You didnt clear up till about Thursday and then slowly it faded away. We felt horrible for you. You were so itchy and your body was just so hot and flaming.
--You are getting your 5th tooth. You got your one bottom tooth first then your two top incisors(called you vampire baby) then the second bottom tooth came in and now your left top tooth is coming in. I was so worried you wouldnt get front teeth..those usually come in before the incisors. hahaha You are drooling and chewing on everything. You always have a bib on and soak through your onesies so fast.
--You are already wearing Landons 18month stuff and size 4 diapers. I even upped to size 5 night ones for night time since we dont change you in the middle of the night anymore.
--You learned to wave and clap your hands. ITs so cute you get so excited. You can army crawl, crawl backwards and get up on your knees and rock bath and forth..you just cant figure out how to move forward. I dont think it will be long though.
--You love to talk and make noises.
--Youve been to the park a couple of times and in the big boy stroller. You just stare at all the big kids..you are unsure of the baby swing.
--So smiley and smile at us the minute you see us..you def are having some separation anxiety if either your dad or I leave the room you scream and become upset.
--Your hair still has a little bit of a red tint too and isnt as blonde as your brothers was.
--Landon still loves you and talks to you and tried to play with you down on the floor.
--You seem to eat more than he does and often finish up the food he didnt eat.
--We switched you over to Landons old big boy car seat facing rear. You didnt seem to mind the change. I think you can see more and its so nice not lugging that huge infant car seat everywhere.
--Everyone at daycare loves you and says you are just the happiest boy. You smile at them every day at drop off.
--We pulled out a few stand up toys-music table etc that you like..youll stand up with assistance for a bit. You seem to prefer big brothers cool big boy toys..esp the life saver..also remotes and phones are big hits and you try to grab for them.
